![]() I've had this gadget for a little over 2 weeks working with no problems, definitely would recommendīouton qui permet de lancer des actions et scénarios ( routines ) sans passer par l’application sur le smartphone ou l’assistant vocalĬes actions doivent être déjà créés dans Homekit / Alexa ou IFTTT par exemple ou déjà créés dans l’application du fabricant ( Bose / IKEA / Lifx. I have the base in center of my small house, signal picks up everywhere within 15ft radius. For the initial set up you need to utilize your bluetooth on your phone, once everything is hooked up you can use your wifi, I leave mine directly plugged in though. With help from IFTTT, harmony hub, lifx, nanoleaf, philips hue, spotify, wemo & wink, you have some choicesĪ lot of people who come over find my Alexa intimidated & using the Flic button is easier for them. Right now it's still limited what you can control, main thing is most smart lights, some smart plugs. I'm using Lifx smart bulbs, I set a button for one press to randomize all lights, 2 presses will turn all lights bright white, a long press will turn off all lights. Press once & you will hear a chime, the smart lights all over the house will also turn red for a few seconds, then turn back to its original color, or if it was off, it will go back off. They really are mutipurpose, I have one on both back & entrance door. Product came on time, packaged well, works great, easy to use. With this, I like that I'm not trapped into one ecosystem. Then again, after much research, there aren't many devices that can do what this can do unless you go with ZWAVE devices and a Samsung Hub, buttons, switches, etc. If you're looking for something VERY straightforward and works "out of the box" then this may not be the best purchase. The possibilities with IFTTT and Zapier are endless, which is why I've decided to keep the device and continue playing around with them. But, with IFTTT integration, I can tell it to toggle lights with one click, dim lights 50% with a double click, and then bring the lights back up to 100% by holding the button down. If you want to dim the lights, you're out of luck. With the standard integration with LIFX, for example, you could toggle the lights on a click. THEN I went through IFTTT and found the potential to be much, much greater. ![]() Again, at that point I almost returned them. For example, the integration with LIFX is nice, but there isn't much control. Configuring them, with the built in options, are rather limited. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, albeit I'm a bit of a techie. I tried one USB adapter and it didn't work, so thankfully I had another by Anker and that one worked. For what you're paying, these two things should be included. No adapter to plug the USB into and no ethernet cord to plug the hub into my switch. It came in a plain white box with the hub, buttons, and a usb cord. From the get go, I almost returned this product without even trying it.
